| 44.1 | Obligation of Membership | |
| A Member is obligated by their Association to respect and abide by this Charter and the by-laws of the Bank including, specifically: | ||
| 1. Respect of all valid financial instruments and currencies underwritten by the Bank | ||
| All Members are obliged to recognize any and all financial instruments and currencies underwritten by the Bank as valid legal tender and honor all bonds, stock certificates, notes and bills presented. | ||
| 2. Refrain from acquiring greater debt instruments and usury practices | ||
| All Members are obliged to refrain from acquiring further amounts of debt instruments having cleared the debt from their currencies and to refrain from usury practices. | ||
